Welcome to the CLAQWA Rubric and Resources homepage. This academic site has several purposes. It can be used to help students improve their own writing and help instructors more effectively evaluate and provide feedback on student writing.

To access the rubric, click on "Cross-Disciplinary." The sixteen trait, five-level scale will appear.

To view a sample of the instructional examples, please click on "Cross-Disciplinary," go to "Trait 1: Assignment Requirements" and click on each level. Examples with comments explaining each level are available for all sixteen traits, but are not accessible from this site.
